| Starting March 2006 and Ongoing |
| Imagining Ourselves: A Global Generation of Women |
|
| My work is featured in Imagining Ourselves. The anthology will be in stores March 2006, but can be pre-ordered. This is a global project of the International Museum of Women and Paula Goodman, and will officially launch on International Women’s Day, March 8, 2006. Imagining Ourselves is presented as an exhibition containing artwork and written dialogue, along with an interactive multi-media kiosk that introduces the project and presents the stories of the artists involved.
The anthology will include visual and written work from women worldwide. This book will be
a stunning compilation of photography, painting, collage, poetry and essays, and includes submissions from well known women artists, athletes and leaders, such as Zadie Smith, Ani de Franco, Karenna Gore-Schiff, Cathy Freeman, and Queen Rania of Jordan. Imagining Oursleves will also launch as a virtual exhibit with multilingual, interactive options; and educational curricula and materials
targeted to high schools and universities. The project will be supported by a series of high
profile events, and a comprehensive media campaign and book tour. For more info visit
the museum's website. |
